The Benefits of Singing in a Choir

There are many benefits to singing in a choir, among them:
Physical (respiratory, improved immune system, neurological development)
Sense of community and development of friendships
Educational (improved literacy and understanding of music theory)
Development of musical memory
Increased expertise in vocal technique
Overall feeling of joy

Here is a link to a lecture delivered earlier this summer in London which goes into further detail.  If you prefer to read, rather than listen, a transcript of Professor Graham Welch's lecture is provided.

We are looking forward to a wonderful season ahead.  Come sing with us!

Just listened to Lacrimosa and Disney on Stage, and was pleased and proud to hear that you, "Nailed It!" What an awesome sound!
